Samosa is a triangular fried or baked pastry that is stuffed with tasty fillings. It is an Asian-origin dish that has everyone in love with this tasty, economical, snack. It is a traditional south Asian snack food made and enjoyed on every occasion like weddings, holy festivities, and small gatherings.

Regardless of the origin, samosas are making their way to everyone’s taste buds crossing the borders and boundaries. The outer crunch and inner tasty fillings are just to die for.

Why do I Love this Recipe?

Either a party or a weekend afternoon. With this recipe, you can have the perfect dish to satisfy your fried fast food cravings with an easy-on-the-pocket, healthy, and flavor-packed dish. Vegetable samosas give us so many varieties to experiment with.

There are so many vegetables that can be a possible combination in a vegetable samosa. This specific recipe works so well because it has the optimal combination of the best ingredients and the best vegetables. The health benefits and fried crust would make a whole package of amazingness.

Health Components of the Recipe

Vegetables are always healthy and that’s a given. But I have trouble eating veggies alone and that’s why I am a total fan of this dish because I can incorporate the nutritious veggies with flaky, fried pastry outside.

Potatoes in the recipe are one starchy old fellow they would stay with you forever. It has so many good health benefits being a good source of fibers for losing weight, carbohydrates for gaining energy. That’s not even it, potatoes also have antioxidants that help the body to function properly. It also has peas, which are tiny little packets with vitamin C and E, with zinc and other super helpful minerals.

There is a dash of cumin seeds that is just enough to impart its taste and nutritional benefits. It has been associated with iron to help with blood circulation, promote digestion, assist in weight loss, and improve blood cholesterol.

Other than cumin, it has cilantro, ginger root, garlic, and cayenne peppers. Super interesting facts, cilantro helps rid the body of heavy metals and settles digestive upsetting of the body, and it also has a refreshing taste.

Ginger root is loaded and enriched with antioxidants. Ginger root contents help the body fight off chronic diseases like heart and lung. Incorporating ginger root can help promote healthy aging. Cayenne peppers are not there for just the heat but they also improve digestion and ease congestion.

Final Thoughts

I love this recipe because all of these amazing ingredients with their many benefits mixed in just the right amount give bursts of flavor in your mouth.

When you bite into the tasty crunch of fried goodness the veggies mixture brings out even more taste and flavor. So let’s make this one-of-a-kind budget-friendly and tasty treat for your loved ones and yourself.
