Appetizers in the culinary world have their origin in Old Greece and Rome, where people used to serve fruits, cured meats, cheeses, and olives as a start to the lavish grand dinners.
This royal tradition is adapted, sophisticated, and enhanced by us Americans. Appetizers are now fully-fledged side dishes to refresh the palate and get everyone’s stomach-churning before digging into the main dishes.
Now, there are events, celebrations, and season-appropriate appetizers. Since it’s the winter season, to grace my winter tables decorated with some wintery, delicious appetizers, I make some of my favorite following appetizers.

At each party, gathering, dinner, or celebration, there have to be drinks and something to munch on while discussing the hot gossip from the office and neighborhood. A perfect crunchy appetizer is easy to make and healthy to eat.
This simple party snack mix is an optimal example of ultimate crunch and an awesome party snack. So easy to make, it goes well with all kinds of occasions either you are binging your favorite tv show or hanging out with friends. You can add different cereals and dry fruits of your choice to give it your spin.

This recipe is unique but makes me a fan of onions even more. No doubt I hate onions for making me cry so much but, they are great in snacks, salads, main course dishes, everywhere I look, I find them silent onions in the background with their lightly sweet, earthy, salty flavor.
Onions’ absence may not be noticed, but their presence multiplies the taste profile of any dish up to many folds. This dish has swiss cream and cheese with soft sauteed onions spread on tortillas baked in the oven to crispy golden brown with soft filling. A lot of tiny pizzas scream party more than everything and, that’s exactly why it’s important to have small tasty pizzas to a party as an appetizer. Pizza with cheese and stuff can get heavy but, you can keep making them light appetizers by controlling the toppings.
