Christmas is a gift of God for us that I use to eat so many dishes in the name of celebration. The days of Christmas are filled with festivals, dinners, parties, and hangouts. One thing that makes me merrier and this day more wholesome is the homemade Christmas cookies. For leaving cookies for Santa to enjoy, and for gifting them to my loved ones, I have to have all the new and unique varieties of cookies. I need the recipes I can make from the comfort of my home, without wasting a surplus amount of money. And, thank God I found some of the awesome Christmas cookie recipes that I know you would enjoy too.

Easy Christmas Cookies

The sugar high of the marshmallows, goodness of rice, and energy from margarine are all tied up together to make a complete filling cookie recipe that has a gooey softness and delicious crunch. I personally love them because they can be easily made with little to no effort. Rice themselves are anti-inflammatory, Gluten-free, and prevent constipation. Margarine gives me good cholesterol so these cookies are not just Christmas treats but also health packets.

I mean how would that work?, well it works out heavenly. The richness of cheese with all the already complete ingredients would make this dish the most filling and tasty. When I don’t have the traditional ingredients for my cookies, and still want some, these are the ones to go for. To put a nice minty spin on my Christmas treats, I found this recipe and I’m never letting it go. The chill peppermint taste profile that lingers on my tongue after every bite is just love. It has chocolate, mint, and uniquely enough, the Ritz crackers. All these unrelated ingredients bind and work so well that I am in awe and a fan.

Cinnamon is known to have so many health benefits with its antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and reduced heart disease. So let’s get those chocolaty, cinnamony goodness this Christmas.

Ginger Elf Christmas Cookies

This recipe is just the right addition to pair well with savory dishes. The difference between the normal taste of ginger with added cinnamon is the right kind of combination that works surprisingly well. I also love this recipe because it has brown sugar in it which adds a richer texture than normal white sugar. Aside from the Christmas celebration they make for a healthy and filling snack because ginger is good for so many things. Ginger helps with osteoarthritis, weight loss, treats morning sickness and so much more.

Christmas is all about surprises and celebrations. And if I can combine a small cute surprise in my cookies, that would just be perfect for my Christmas table. It has peanut butter aside from traditional butter, brown sugar with white and tiny chocolates for a surprise. I am a fan because, at the center of each cookie, there is a burst of sweet chocolate. And, I can add any chocolate of my choice like snickers, Mars, KitKat pieces. It just incorporates every chocolate well.
